Kathy Hilton is shading the narcissist — or narcissists — in her life amid growing tensions on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
The “friend of the Housewives,” who is rumored to lose her title as fan favorite on the current season, shared a cryptic yet cutthroat message via her Instagram Story Wednesday night.
“When the chips are down, a person who genuinely cares for you wants to be there for you because you need it,” read the reposted graphic from an account dedicated to “understanding the narc.”
“A narcissist however, will only be there for you because they need it,” the quote continued. “To feed on the drama. To promote their fake persona of ‘being that great person who is always there for others,’ with no follow through. To build your debt of obligation to them.
“In none of these scenarios are your needs involved,” the message concluded. “You are an opportunity to be capitalized on. Your misfortune, is their fortune.”
Hilton, 63, commented on the original post, “So true!!!!!”
Though she kept her comments about her castmates short, sweet and politically correct during her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Wednesday, Hilton is said to be on the outs with a handful of them — including her half-sister Kyle Richards.
“It’s so complicated and complex,” Richards, 53, told Page Six last week while discussing their relationship, adding, “The fact that we’re on television complicates things.”
Richards confirmed on the May 11 episode of “WWHL” that she and Hilton stopped speaking after hitting a “rough patch” during filming for Season 12.
Richards was noticeably absent from Hilton’s “Housewife”-studded birthday dinner in March; however, we were told at the time that the “Halloween Kills” star simply had a prior engagement.
As for the other ladies with whom Hilton is believed to be butting heads, Erika Jayne was seen telling Richards in the trailer for Season 12 that she was keen on a Hilton takedown after spending Season 11 “getting f–king pummeled” over her financial woes.
The shocking teaser concluded with a tense conversation among Hilton, Richards and Lisa Rinna.
“You said some things about this beautiful sister of yours,” Rinna, 58, said to Hilton. “I’m sorry, Kathy, you’re not gonna get away with it.”
Additionally, RadarOnline reported that Hilton had a “meltdown” during the cast’s trip to Aspen, Colo., in January. Shortly thereafter, rumors began swirling that the off-camera fiasco may have involved Hilton’s alleged use of a gay slur — which Rinna and Jayne, 50, were said to have brought back to the group.
After her shady Instagram Story about narcissists Wednesday, Hilton posted and quickly deleted a caption-less photo of a piping-hot tea kettle and a meme of Kermit the Frog sipping on some Lipton.
Clearly, she has some tea she’d like to spill.
